Originally from Turkey, Beste Toparlak’s musical experience and studies have taken her to Asia, Europe, and America. After completing her studies in the Turkish Conservatory system with a bachelor’s degree, she moved to Germany and earned a master’s degree studying with former Vienna Philharmonic principal harpist Xavier de Maistre. In 2019 she graduated from the Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music’s Artist Diploma Program, after studying with distinguished professors Susann McDonald and Elzbieta Szmyt.

In this free program, spanning Romantic, Twentieth Century and Contemporary periods, Toparlak shares beautiful waltzes and intriguing works from French, Polish, Italian, and Dutch composers.
